As we flip the calendar to December, I want to remind you of something that often gets pushed to the bottom of our to-do lists: you’re allowed to step away.
This is the season when life asks us to slow down, look up from our laptops, and spend real time with the people who make our lives feel full. And yet, as solopreneurs, it can also be the season when we feel most glued to the day-to-day: closing out the year, tying up loose ends, prepping for what’s next.
If that’s you, take a breath.
Your business will not fall apart if you step back for a moment. But it will benefit from a more rested, grounded, connected you.
So as we move into this holiday stretch, I hope you give yourself permission to close your laptop a little earlier some days. To say yes to the walk, the coffee date, the school event, the slow morning. Those moments matter. They refill the creative well you draw from all year long.

Set them at the same time daily and label them in your calendar as “Business Growth. Do Not Move.”Treat these blocks like client meetings. You’ll make progress even on chaotic days.
