How do I attach a File?
You can attach a file while creating a new task or open an existing task and add a file.
Attaching a file to a new task:
- Once you have created a new task, click Save.
- You will now be on the task detail screen.
- Click on the Files tab at the bottom left side of the page.
- Click on the teal Add File button.
- If you can see the file you want to add on your desktop or a file folder, simply drag it and place it in the drag & drop area.
- If you can not see the file you want to add on your desktop or a file folder, click on the teal Upload File button.
- Locate your file on your computer, click on it, and then click Open.
- Give the file a Friendly name. This simply means a name that you will associate with the file pretty quickly.
- Decide where the file will be visible, in Tasks, Immediate Subtasks or All Subtasks.
- Decide who has access to the file. (on the right side of the page)
- Type in a description of the file at the bottom of the page. This is super important if others are viewing the file.
- Click Save.
- To attach a file to an existing task, simply find the file and follow the above instructions.
