Welcome to LifeStarr!
There are over 30 million solopreneurs in the US and that number is growing quickly. Most want to build a business that serves their life.
About LifeStarr
Build a Life-First Business
Most solopreneurs didn't leave a job to build themselves a new boss. But that's often what happens. The business creeps in, takes over the calendar, and starts running the life instead of the other way around. That's the Ownership Trap, and it's the reason so many solo businesses quietly burn their owners out.
LifeStarr exists to change that. We help solopreneurs build a Life-First Business: one designed around the life you actually want, run on real commitments, and built to evolve as your life changes.
We know the trap because we've lived in it. The loneliness of working alone. The feast-or-famine swings. The constant pressure to do it all. None of that is a personal failing. It's what happens when a business gets built without a plan for the life it's supposed to serve.
So we built the guidance, the tools, and the community to help you do it differently. You're the one doing the hard work here. We're the people in your corner who've walked the same road.
What We Believe
Life first. Then business. The business exists to serve the life. Full stop. Every decision we make starts there.
Action beats theory. No fluff. Whether it's a course, a checklist, an event, or StarrAI coaching, everything we build is made to solve a real problem: getting clients, closing sales, protecting your time.
Consistency builds trust. Listen to the podcast, join a Success Session, or connect in the community, and you'll always know what you're getting: practical help and genuine support.
Flying solo doesn't mean being isolated. Working by yourself shouldn't mean facing it all by yourself. We bring solopreneurs together through events, peer groups, and shared resources, so there's always someone who gets it nearby.
Business is personal. When you're a solopreneur, your work and your life are tied together at the root. So we keep things human: honest, encouraging, and not above a little humor.
Our Promise
LifeStarr is here to earn your trust, fuel your progress, and celebrate your wins. Our job is to help you create a business that truly works for the life you want, and to remind you that flying solo never has to mean going it alone.
Life First. Then Business.
Meet the
LifeStarr Team
Stacy Blette
Customer Experience & Onboarding Manager
Meet Stacy, our Customer Experience and Onboarding Guru 🎉 otherwise known as our Chief Happiness Officer! She’s the friendly face (and brain) behind making sure every customer’s journey with us is nothing short of amazing. From the moment you join, Stacy’s got your back—guiding you through setup, training, and getting you comfy with the platform. Her mission? To keep things smooth, and simple, so you feel supported and ready to rock your experience with us! 🚀 Stacy is a proud mom to a son serving in the Army Special Forces (her real-life superhero), a daughter-in-law who’s a rockstar teacher 🍎 for non-verbal autistic preschoolers, and a daughter living her best life in college. When she manages to find free time (seriously, what’s that?), Stacy is out conquering marathons 🏃—18 and counting, with no signs of slowing down! She’s also got a passion for photography and an undeniable love for the beach. 🌞 Did we mention the beach? Because, yeah, she really loves the beach!
Tricia Harvey
Office Coordinator
Tricia has been rocking the Office Coordinator gig longer than she'd probably care to admit (but hey, experience is everything!). Back when her three daughters were growing up, she ditched the corporate grind for part-time remote work - way before it was cool! She made her big return to the office setting around 2006 and now enjoys the best of both worlds with a mix of remote and in-office flexibility. When she’s not keeping everything running smoothly at work, Tricia loves spending time with her growing squad of grandkids, watching them discover the world one milestone at a time. As for sports, she’s a die-hard hockey and football fan—so much so that she even works at the Patriots' stadium! 🏈🏒
Josh Jordan
Co-founder & Software Architect
Josh has been building software applications for over a decade and has been a tech entrepreneur for nearly as long. He’s worked on things you may use every day, like the Amazon Echo, and launched dozens of web and mobile products. He lives in upstate NY with his wife, kids, and dog. Josh splits his free time between typical geek activities (serious board games and writing code for fun) and atypical geek activities (hiking and camping). Lifestarr has become a passion for Josh and he won’t rest until we’ve shown the world that we don’t need to trust our feeble human brains to stay organized any longer — we can use Lifestarr instead!
Joe Rando
Founder & CEO
Joe has started a number of businesses in technology and real estate. He is very excited about LifeStarr and pretty much never stops talking about it (just ask his wife). Joe lives in Florence, MA with his wife, Licia, a child therapist, and has 4 grown children who are all awesome (just ask him). He has a degree in physics from UMass and an MBA from UConn. His hobbies include drinking coffee. Between cups of coffee, he sometimes skis, cycles, and plays the guitar.
Shelley Rapoza
Controller
Shelley has been with LifeStarr since its inception, bringing her dedication, and enthusiasm to every endeavor. A busy mom of two, she cherishes summers spent at her family’s beach house in Connecticut. As a true advocate for a healthy and active lifestyle, Shelley has a goal of hiking all 48 of New Hampshire's 4,000-foot peaks. She’s already conquered 35 and is steadily closing in on her ambitious milestone. Her passion for NASCAR adds a thrilling touch to her weekends, showcasing her love for speed and competition. Shelley is also known as a serial celebrator of the holiday season! If you cross paths with her during the festive months, prepare to embrace her holiday spirit—or else!
Carly Ries
Chief Marketing Officer
Carly has been rocking the marketing world for over a decade, helping everyone from cozy mom-and-pop shops to massive Fortune 500 giants. She’s a proud digital nomad, previously road-tripping around the country with her hubby, kids, and their trusty pup, Aspen. When she’s not adventuring across the US, you’ll find her back home in Colorado Springs, hiking trails, whipping up something yummy in the kitchen, or crushing pop culture questions at trivia night.
Starr
Director of Barketing
If any of our teammates can get you to stay focused, it's Starr...provided the focus is on him. While still embracing his puppy tendencies, Starr is a sweetheart and has the ability to make anyone he meets fall in love with him. When not working tirelessly on his LifeStarr assignments, Starr can be found playing fetch, accepting belly rubs, and hunting for the nearest table scraps.
