Our Team of RockStarrs

Ding! Buzz! Beep! Chime! Ring! Do those sounds make up the soundtrack of your day? If so, you’re not alone. We live in a technology-driven world that has seemed to get somewhat out of control. Bouncing back and forth between various platforms to ensure your personal and professional to-do lists are on track can be exhausting and time-consuming. We knew there had to be a better way to get things done, which is why LifeStarr was created.

Meet the Team

Stacy Blette

Director of Training

If you have questions, she's got answers! After twenty-five years in property management, she has made the leap into the tech world. Stacy is a big Patriots fan (her husband works for them!) and a proud mother to a son in the Army Special Forces and a daughter who is taking the high school field hockey world by storm. In her free time (what's that?), Stacy enjoys running, photography, the beach, the beach, and the beach!

Michael Hayman

Co-founder & Senior Full Stack Developer

Michael began programming and created a popular network of technology information web sites with his friends at the ripe old age of 14 (I mean, didn’t we all?). Born in Australia, he moved to Canada at 18 to continue working on his business, and that’s where he received his Masters in Economics. When he isn’t programming, you can find him adventuring to exotic locations around the world with his friends, hiking, speaking Russian, playing guitar, and channeling his inner monkey whenever he sees a chin-up bar.

Josh Jordan

Co-founder & Software Architect

Josh has been building software applications for over a decade and has been a tech entrepreneur for nearly as long. He’s worked on things you may use every day, like the Amazon Echo, and launched dozens of web and mobile products. He lives in upstate NY with his wife, kids, and dog. Josh splits his free time between typical geek activities (serious board games and writing code for fun) and atypical geek activities (hiking and camping). Lifestarr has become a passion for Josh and he won’t rest until we’ve shown the world that we don’t need to trust our feeble human brains to stay organized any longer — we can use Lifestarr instead!

Joe Rando

Founder & CEO

Joe is the Founder and CEO of WorkStarr, the company that created LifeStarr. He lives in Sharon, MA with his wife, Licia, a child therapist, and has 4 grown children who are all awesome (just ask him). He has a degree in physics from UMass and an MBA from UConn. Joe has started a number of businesses in technology and real estate. He is very excited about LifeStarr and pretty much never stops talking about it (just ask his wife). His hobbies include drinking coffee, thinking about drinking coffee, and wishing he was drinking coffee. Between cups of coffee, he sometimes jogs, skis, cycles, and plays the guitar.

Carly Ries

Marketing Manager

Carly has been in the marketing world for over a decade and has consulted with businesses ranging from local mom and pop shops to global Fortune 500 companies. She’s one of those digital nomads who travels nearly full-time around the country with her husband, toddler, and puppy. When she’s not out on the open road, you can find her in her hometown of Colorado Springs, hiking, cooking, yogaing (aren’t you glad she's in charge of writing our content?), and finding the nearest trivia night where she can dominate the pop culture questions.

Director of Barketing

If any of our teammates can get you to stay focused, it's Starr...provided the focus is on him. While still embracing his puppy tendencies, Starr is a sweetheart and has the ability to make anyone he meets fall in love with him. When not working tirelessly on his LifeStarr assignments, Starr can be found playing fetch, accepting belly rubs, and hunting for the nearest table scraps.
