By Carly Ries on June 23, 2020

At this point in the year, I think it’s safe to say that 2020 has been an emotional roller coaster. If there’s an emotion to be experienced, odds are you’ve felt it over the past few months at some point.

It's been hard to not get distracted, but our focus as a company is to help you be productive, so to make sure we stayed productive ourselves, we turned to espresso. Lots and lots of espresso. Luckily our team was already made up of espresso fanatics. In fact, clicking on the audio playlist in the Coffitivity app makes us feel right at home!

So, why am I telling you about these seemingly unrelated topics, emotions and espresso? Well, it’s because we’ve realized that the two can actually go hand-in-hand, and we’ve discovered our drink of choice can be dictated by the mood we’re in. “Unprecedented times, “difficult times,” and “trying times” are being heard and displayed across media platforms and in everyday conversations. Between the pandemic and recent protests, emotions are running high. Our worlds have been turned upside down and nobody has written a solid playbook on how to handle it.
