What is the Life-First Solopreneur Business Method?
The Life-First Solopreneur Business Method is a three-phase, twelve-step way to build and run a solopreneur business around the life you actually want. The phases are Design the Life, Build the Business; Run the Business on Commitments; and Evolve the Business. It begins before the business does, at Step 0: Define the Life. The Method exists to keep solopreneurs out of The Ownership Trap, the pattern where the business ends up owning the owner.

Why the Method exists
It exists because of a trap
Most solopreneurs leave a job to get their life back. Then the business quietly takes it.
That's The Ownership Trap. It shows up as stress, burnout, uncertainty, and revenue you can't predict. And it almost always has the same three causes.
Cause 01 · No design
The business was built without a life plan.
Nobody drew the life first, so the business filled the space instead.
Cause 02 · No system
It runs on email, chat, and memory instead of commitments.
Every promise lives in an inbox, a thread, or somebody’s head.
Cause 03 · No plan to evolve
And there’s no deliberate plan to evolve it when life changes... or when the world does.
So change arrives as a crisis instead of a scheduled decision.

Look at what happens in Phase 3. Step 9 is a decision: refine the business you have, or rethink it and loop all the way back to Step 0, define the life. Refine, and you return to running on commitments. The Method loops because your life isn't static... and neither is the world your business lives in.
